Michael Ikechukwu Eke (a native of Uguri ibeme Village of Isiala Mbano Local Gov. Area, Imo State, Nigeria) better known by his stage name Boi Fleks or simply “Fleksy” is a Nigerian Artist, Songwriter, Instrumentalist, Performer and a Business Man based in United States Of America. He inherited music from his family as his father founded a “Band Group” that has become a major traditional band, a must played band in every event such as Traditional Marriage, Cultural Events, Masquerade Festival, and much more in his hometown.
Boi Fleks began his music career at 10 years old singing in classrooms for his classmates and also at his classmate’s birthday parties, also writes poet and love letters to his little girlfriend and excel in performing in bigger events such as Wedding Ceremonies, Child Naming Ceremonies, and Birthday Ceremonies. He later became the lead dancer for his school “Saint Finbarr’s College” and has represented the school in both dancing and singing competitions dancing and miming to foreign artist songs. He was influenced by American music industry as he fell in love with artists like 2Pac, Biggy, Nass, Jay Z, and Usher, and he finally made his way to Boston Massachusetts in the United States of America where he currently resides.
He continued his music career in United States of America as he is popularly known across cities and states in the United States by his “Stage Performance, his Unique Music Sounds, The Deep Voice for the Ladies, and his ability to speak fluently and incorporate Igbo and Yoruba languages and a little Hausa language in his vocals is because he was born and raised in the city of Lagos” where he grew up learning these languages.
Boi Fleks took a long break from music when he went back to university in the United States of America to acquire more college degrees, and he has returned to his unique style and a new flavor of rhythms and sounds as he is bringing the world a different taste of music by introducing his New Single Hit “BOOTY,” Song for the ladies.
